The joy of reading and the spirit of the season – Western Wayne

The joy of reading and the spirit of the season were celebrated as Western Wayne High School students visited Evergreen Elementary classrooms to share a story and activity with children in Kindergarten through 3rd grade.

On Tuesday, December 20th, fifteen Western Wayne High School students from Miss Swingle and Mrs. Brzycki’s American Literature classes spread some holiday cheer at Evergreen Elementary School. The students worked in small groups over the course of two weeks to develop age-appropriate lesson plans complete with engaging activities and props to share with students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade.
