On Friday, October 9th, EverGreen Elementary hosted Hamlin Fire & Rescue, the Lake Ariel Volunteer Fire Company, the Ledgedale Volunteer Fire Company, and the Maplewood Fire and Rescue for a special fire safety presentation.
Local emergency personnel taught students vital life-saving strategies, showcased the equipment they use every day, and gave students the opportunity to tour the fire apparatus on campus. As a memorable takeaway, the fire companies also generously provided cooling towels for all students.
We extend our sincere thanks to Hamlin Fire & Rescue, Lake Ariel Volunteer Fire Company, Ledgedale Volunteer Fire Company, and Maplewood Fire and Rescue for visiting EverGreen and helping our students learn important ways to stay safe.
