Allentown Colleges Tour Trip – (Open to Juniors & SOPHOMORES)

Attention Juniors and NOW SOPHOMORES!!!!!

The Western Wayne Guidance Department is planning a trip to Allentown to tour universities on April 13, 2023. The trip will include tours of Lafayette College, DeSales University and Moravian University. Seating is limited to 40 students, so it will be on a first come, first serve basis. The cost of the trip will be $55.00 to cover the charter bus. Please make checks payable to Western Wayne High School. Money is due by Thursday, March 30, 2023. On April 5th, the Western Wayne High School Guidance Department will be hosting a career fair for 11th and 12th grade students.

Curriculum Night – February 2nd

Due to last week’s inclement weather, Curriculum Night was postponed to Thursday, February 2, 2023, from 6:00-7:30 PM in the WWHS Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium.

Fastenal Trip

Attention 9th – 12th Grade Students:

Are you interested in a career in manufacturing?

We will be taking a trip on February 7th to Fastenal to tour the facility, meet with management, and learn about career opportunities.

Marywood University- Psychology Fair Trip & Wilkes University – Earth & Environmental Science Trip

Attention 11th and 12th Graders!

On March 24, 2023, we will be taking a trip to Marywood University for a Psychology Fair to learn more about careers related to psychology, to meet with faculty, and to tour the campus. If you are interested, stop by the Guidance Office to sign up!

On April 21, 2023, we will be taking a trip to Wilkes University to learn about Earth and Environmental Science as well as to tour the campus. If you are interested, stop by the Guidance Office to sign up!

Curriculum Night – January 25th

Curriculum Night will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2023, from 6:00 to 7:00. Administration, Guidance and the Department Heads will go over the curriculum, graduation requirements and the scheduling process.
