WW HS Message Clarification

The message sent yesterday was a general reminder for all students and parents/guardians regarding student absences from school. If your child is absent from school, a note needs to be submitted to the office within 3 days of their return for the day(s) to be excused. If a note is not received, the day stands as unlawful/unexcused.

Safe2Say Something is a youth violence prevention program run by the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General. The program teaches youth and adults how to recognize warning signs and signals, especially within social media, from individuals who may be a threat to themselves or others and to “say something” BEFORE it is too late.

Provides parents with the ability to monitor all food purchases completed by your child within the past thirty days. Whether they purchased breakfast, lunch or a la carte items, details of the food purchases are displayed. You can create a Low Balance notification via email.

For emergencies after 4 PM, Western Wayne offers an after-hour emergency number. Please state your name, child’s name, the bus or van number, driver’s name and your phone number. An administrator will call you back as soon as possible.
