- Second grade participates in Agricultural Literacy week activities.March 25, 2024EverGreen students in grades kindergarten to second grade participated in Agricultural Literacy week activities. On Wednesday, March 20th, volunteer readers went to each classroom to read the book “Anywhere Farm” and completed activities with the students. Students were taught to explore the options they have to grow their own foods, i.e.: bucket, pail, front porch, windowsill, etc. demonstrating how easily anyone can their own food, not just farmers. - Robert D. Wilson Elementary Kindness Club contributes through food driveMarch 19, 2024The Kindness Club played a pivotal role in organizing a significant event at Robert D. Wilson Elementary. From March 11th through the 15th, we conducted a food drive aimed at supporting those in need within our community. The Kindness Club took charge of collecting the donated items, and we are incredibly fortunate to have received an outstanding assortment of nonperishable foods. - Computer science is Western Wayne’s first Career Technical Education programMarch 15, 2024Western Wayne High School is planning to start its first Career Technical Education (CTE) program, focused on computer programming and networking.
