School Counselors of NEPA Scholarship Winner – Jamie Bryan

Jamie Bryan was selected as the 2020-2021 SCs of NEPA $500 scholarship recipient. Jamie is a senior at Western Wayne High School, where she has excelled academically, socially, and within her extra-curricular activities.

Jamie will be attending Lafayette College in the fall, majoring in Environmental Science. She notes “With a career in this field, I would use my knowledge of the natural sciences to protect the environment and human health.”

Jamie’s school counselor, Matt Fitzsimmons, expressed that Jamie “is well-liked by her peers, is extremely personable, works well with others, and she cares about those around her. These are the type of qualities that make for a well-rounded and respected person…and that is Jamie Bryan.”

August 1—If you plan to enroll in a community college; a designated Pennsylvania Open-Admission institution; a business, trade, or technical school; a hospital school of nursing; or a 2-year program that is not transferable to another institution; you must submit the FAFSA and the Pennsylvania State Grant Form.
