Local Students Celebrate Joy of Reading at 12th Annual NEIU Reading Competition held at Western Wayne High School

Western Wayne School District hosted the 12th Annual NEIU Reading Competition on Thursday, May 11. Numerous area schools competed in both the high school and middle school divisions of the competition. Over 600 high school and middle students participated in the event that celebrates a love for reading. Students at the event competed in three rounds of competition where they had to answer questions about books from an established list. Western Wayne had three teams that participated.
