Pennsylvania’s FBLA held its Virtual Awards of Excellence Program on Friday, May 15. The top ten in each event was announced at this time and members found out if they would be eligible to compete this June in the FBLA National Leadership Experience.
Western Wayne FBLA had a tremendous showing once again. Twenty-two Western Wayne FBLA members placed in the top ten. Ms. Theresa Lubash is Western Wayne’s FBLA Adviser and Business Department Chairperson.
Western Wayne’s awards were as follows: Accounting I, first place, Lacey Falloon, second place, Alex Hineline, third place, Celeste Orchard; Emerging Business Issues, eighth place, James Fryzel, Caden Slifko; Impromptu Speaking, eighth place, Adelaide Treibley; Introduction to Business Presentation, fifth place, Skylar Long, Ella Pavlovich; Introduction to FBLA, first place, Rachel Hoch, second place, Kaeli Romanowski, third place, Abby Kapschull; Introduction to Parliamentary Procedures, first place, Gabby Tetreault; second place, Rachel Tuman, third place, Ashton Fitzsimmons; Parliamentary Procedures, first place, Darlene Black, Lenny Maiocco, Kate Mattern, Lena Piccolino, and Sydney Peet; Who’s Who in FBLA, third place, Ezra Tetreault, eighth place, Sydney Peet; Local Market Share, tenth place, Western Wayne FLBA; and Outstanding Chapter, eighth place, Western Wayne FBLA.
In addition, Lenny Maiocco will be serving as the PA FBLA State Parliamentarian for the 2020-2021 school year.
