Both Coach Justin and Trina Collins took 4 girls who all qualified for the New Balance High School Track and Field Outdoor National Championships at North Carolina A & T, in Greensboro, North Carolina the weekend of June 15-17, 2018. Trina Barcarola qualified or the Emerging Elite Pole Vault and the 300 hurdles. The 4 x 400 Relay Team of Annie Skirpan, Samantha Atcavage, Elizabeth Pulice, and Trina Barcarola also qualfied.
Trina competed on Friday, June 15 in the pole vault event and jumped 11’2.5 placing 20th out of 36th in the country, and oh yeah, did we mention she is only a sophomore!!
On Sunday the 4 x 400 Relay team, all Juniors except for Trina, finished 25th out of 44th.
